This is the first formal English introduction to al-Mudawwanah al-Jāmi‘ah: The Hadith Encyclopedia, a project under the supervision of Shaykh Muftī Taqī al-‘Uthmānī for the last fifteen years. The aim of this monumental work is to collect all the marfū‘ hadith that have reached us.

This translation aims to provide a comprehensive introduction of this historical work for the English speaking world. It is available in PDF as well.
